Can I use my NDIS funding to access your nursing services?
If you are an NDIS participant, you can use your NDIS plan to access Home Caring’s NDIS community nursing services through your Core and Capacity Building funding. This includes services like having one of our experienced nurses visit you at home to provide tracheostomy care, assistance with preventative health care, or getting help to manage a chronic condition.
To receive nursing NDIS services through your funding, the care must be related to your impairment, and it must assist you with activities of daily living. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch; we’re happy to help.
Can I use my Home Care Package to access your nursing services?
Yes, Home Care Packages can be used to access at-home nursing supports, including care for complex needs, medication management, wound care, and more. The amount of support your funding covers depends on your Home Care Package level, which can range from Level 1 (basic care) to 4 (high level of care). Accessing nursing support at home can be a good way to look after your health, prevent falls, and stay independent for as long as possible.
